National Aboriginal Day 2015

National Aboriginal Day (NAD) took place across the Country on June 21st, and celebrated the heritage, diverse cultures, and achievements of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples in Canada. The Kelowna Library had a feature display during the month of June, showcasing Aboriginal culture and resources. Visit the Library to borrow the books and documentaries that were featured, or go online to view streaming videos, borrow and download e-books, or read articles. Also available now is the Truth and Reconciliation Committee’s report, “Honouring the Truth”.
