Missed the Cite it Right Workshop this Term?

Cite it Right - Click to RegisterCite it Right workshops have helped many students learn about the basics of APA citation style, as well as the overall research and publishing process. If you missed the workshop offered this term it is still OK!

The citation help pages on the Library’s website provide links to websites that have been vetted by librarians and given the stamp of approval as quality sources. You can also find APA, MLA, & Chicago “citation “cheat sheets” on these pages for viewing or download. The Chicago citation page even provides access to the online version of Chicago’s manual of style (on trial until the end of February). You can also check-out the Research, Writing & Citing LibGuide, which offers many tips and tricks around writing your research paper and citing your sources.

You can also drop in at a library and ask for citation assistance at the reference desk, or contact a librarian directly for assistance. Have you seen a blue or grey chat box on some of the Library’s web pages or in library databases? This is the live chat reference service, AskAway. You can ask you citation questions via chat and a librarian will respond within minutes and sometimes seconds!
