Cite it Right APA workshops are back!

Back by popular demand, Cite it Right! APA workshops have returned for another term. This year an additional advanced APA citation session has been added to the schedule.

Basic APA sessions will cover topics such as what is APA, what is a citation, citing articles from databases, DOIs, plagiarism, why citation is important, and more. The advanced APA session will appeal to individuals who are comfortable with the basics of APA citation. The advanced session will cover topics such as citing anonymous works, how to cite videos or blog posts, citations in quotations, citing secondary resources, citing non-standard resources, and APA tips and tricks.

Workshops are being offered at the Kelowna campus, room L203 (the Library classroom) on the following dates:

  • Thursday, October 6th at 10 a.m. (basic)
  • Wednesday, October 19th at 2 p.m. (advanced)
  • Tuesday, November 8th at 12 p.m. (basic)
