Website Updated

As the result of a usability study conducted by the Library last winter and a review of the site by OC Student Connections, the Library substantially revised its website over the summer. Changes include a less cluttered home page, more user-friendly terminology, and more precise subject access to online research resources.

One consequence of the revisions is that some pages do not display in Internet Explorer 6. It is recommended that employees update the browsers on their computers to Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 3.5 (Internet Explorer 8 is not recommended because of incompatibility with a variety of College systems).  All student-use computers at OC have already been updated.

For more information about the website or the usability study, contact Ross Tyner, Web Services Librarian (Kelowna campus, Local 4660).
